(-Short version-)

BondageNexus (Mike, he, him) has been tying himself and others for 48 years. Along with his partner RopeSiren, he’s been teaching his favorite expressions of inescapable rope and circus stunts for 15 years. He and his partner currently lead monthly classes on the basics of tying and they host quarterly rope conferences.

(-Long version-)

Hi, it’s Mike Leahy (he, him) and I’ve been teaching rope bondage with my tying partners since 2007.

The class I am most passionate about teaching is Tying For Eels. It was first presented a decade ago at a Guilty Pleasures stage show gathering. It was most recently presented at Oblige rope boutique of Detroit.

I led the CORG AIS monthly rope group for ten years before the venue was claimed by COVID. My partner and I are currently leading the new ROCO monthly rope meetings. Our first meeting this month drew 73 people.

I have choreographed (with talented partners) rope circus performances at the annual Trauma Columbus fetish Halloween event with thousands of attendees.

I’ve taught (with my tying partner) circus Shibari at NARIX twice.

For every semester for six years I led (with tying partners) a bondage demonstration in a human sexuality class at The Ohio State University.

I’ve led various classes at UnCons including teaching Tying For Sleep at Shibaricon.

I’ve performed (with various tying partners) at Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza in Toronto and Boston.

For the past year I’ve been leading (with my tying partner RopeSiren) beginner classes each month at Ohana’s, a local lifestyle club.
